Graduate of Psychology at Jagiellonian University.
Graduate of Psychotherapy in the Polish Erickson Institute - treatment of personal, couples and family therapy.
Member of the British Psychological Society, British Association for Councelling and Psychotherapy, Polish Psychologist Association in Poland and Polish Psychologists Association in England.
Internship at the Centre for Psychological Education for Prevention and Health Promotion Education, organized by the Polish Association of Practicing Psychologists in Krakow.
Completed training programs in Psychotherapy, conducted by both Polish and foreign therapists:
- Training in psychotherapy for anxiety and depression by J. Zeig,
- Training of Mindfulness (derived from Buddhist practices) by I. Milton,

Anna Burban
Psychologist, Counsellor
Anna has a Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and a Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and English language.
The integrative approach allows her to use different branches of psychology to
adjust the therapeutic work to the client’s needs. She has an interest in
person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy and transactional analysis.
She views psychotherapy as a process that leads to better understanding of
ourselves, in which therapeutic relationship is one of the most important element of
therapy. She builds that therapeutic relationship on acceptance and trust,
which gives the opportunity to create the space for authentic encounter with other person.
She is a member of Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC).
Anna is a voluntary counsellor in Bower House (counselling charity organisation) in
Market Harborough. She also supports The Green Mile Foundation – Polish
charity organisation in UK.
She works both in Polish and English language.
